Inter-College Debate Competition

Dewan Law College organized an Inter-College Debate Competition on 6th October 2025. The topic for the debate was “Personal Laws Violate the Principle of Gender Equality.” More than fifteen colleges participated in the event, presenting strong arguments both for and against the motion.

The esteemed Chief Guests for the event were Dr. M. P. Singh, Director, CERT College of Law, and Dr. Ashok Kumar, Faculty of Law, Meerut College, Meerut. In the results, Bushra Ansari from Meerut College secured the first position, Ms. Angel Malik from Dewan Law College stood second, and Mr. Piyush from Mewar Law College bagged the third position.

The event was successfully organized by Ms. Mandakini Kapoor and Ms. Isha Jain, whose efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the competition.
